Scott’s firm focus is working with clients who own/operate/invest in real property assets, including clients who are inheriting generational wealth or planning for generational wealth transfer, and clients who own and operate closely-held businesses.

Scott earned his bachelor’s degree in journalism from Oklahoma State University with a concentration in advertising and promotions in 2004. In 2009, he earned his Juris Doctorate from Oklahoma City University School of Law, graduating with honors. He was admitted to the Oklahoma Bar Association in 2010 and is licensed to practice in the United States District Court for the Western District of Oklahoma.
In 2008, Scott joined Heritage Trust Company where he worked until 2013, serving for three years as vice president and real estate manager. Scott joined Trust Company of Oklahoma in 2013 as vice president of the Property Management Division and was promoted to senior vice president and shareholder in 2016.

Civically, Scott serves as a member of the board of directors for Oklahoma State Fair, Inc. Previously, Scott has served several nonprofits in addition to extensive service to the City of Oklahoma City. He served as member of the Oklahoma City Board of Adjustment after being appointed by Mayor Mick Cornett in 2014. He was elected chairman for the 2017-2018 year. In 2017, Scott was again appointed by Mayor Cornett to serve as the Ward 8 planning commissioner for the City of Oklahoma City. He was elected chairman for the 2020-2021 and 2021-2022 years. In addition to his municipal service, Scott has also been appointed by the Oklahoma County District Court to assist with property valuations as an Oklahoma County land commissioner.

A fourth-generation Oklahoman, Scott lives in northwest Oklahoma City with his wife, Lauren, and their two daughters.
