David T. Stanley is the chief executive officer and a founding principal of Full Sail Capital. David’s passions are his faith, family and providing guidance to his clients and their families with excellence, transparency and integrity.
His firm focus is to help high net worth clients develop, implement and maintain customized wealth strategies. Planning is the foundational tool used in his wealth management process. It provides a customized road map for helping clients achieve their goals and dreams.
David earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in finance from the University of North Texas in 1989. In 2004, he graduated from the Graduate Trust School at Northwestern University. He is also a certified trust and financial advisor (CTFA) and holds the Series 65 securities license.
David was an executive vice president and member of the board of directors for the Trust Company of Oklahoma (TCO). He was responsible for the Oklahoma City Region for TCO where he built a team of professionals that grew the assets held under management from about $180 million to more than $900 million in less than seven years. Prior to his tenure at TCO, David served as a senior vice president and senior regional investment officer in the wealth management division of Arvest Bank. David started his career with Amarillo National Bank where he ultimately served as a senior vice president and trust officer managing the personal trust and oil and gas divisions.
Actively involved in the community, David serves as the president of the Oklahoma Israel Exchange board and is a past chairman of the board for Ronald McDonald House Charities. David lives in Edmond with his wife, Kim. They have three children and two “grandsugars.”
